Local Detail
Grimsby proper splits into three very different jobs. Down in Olde Town and Grimsby Beach it's century homes and converted cottages — narrow stairs, no garage, driveways too short for a bin. The 1960s–80s subdivisions off Main Street, Livingston and Oakes are downsizing territory: full basements, packed garages and forty years of accumulation coming out at once. Up on the Escarpment along Mountain Road, Ridge Road, Kemp Road and Woolverton, properties are larger with outbuildings, workshops and farm material, and the laneways are long. On the Casablanca and lakefront condo side, it's service-elevator bookings and loading-dock windows — we arrange those with the property manager.
West of town, Beamsville, Vineland, Jordan and Campden mix village housing with working vineyards and orchards, which means farm scrap, greenhouse material and outbuilding clear-outs alongside normal household jobs. Smithville and West Lincoln are more rural again, with barns and shops. East toward Winona, Fruitland and Stoney Creek it's newer subdivision housing on the Hamilton side of the Fifty — heavy on renovation debris as those homes hit their first big update cycle.
Everything we haul that can't be donated or scrapped goes to the Niagara Road 12 landfill in West Lincoln, which is central to the whole service area. That's part of why we can keep pricing flat across it.
